Four Sunday Brunches at Gatsby's Restaurant, Toronto
Presenting The Discovery Series
In January, February, March and April of 1999, the IRCPA honoured four of Canada's Icons. Clarice Carson, soprano, Louis Quilico, baritone, Mary Morrison, soprano, and Ermanno Mauro, tenor. Scultures by Anne Lazare Mirvish were awarded in recognition of their careers and contribution to Canada's reputation for wonderful singers.
The honorees presented young artists of the time, including: Millicent Scarlett, soprano, Emily Hamper, coach, Jacqui Lynn-Fidlar, mezzo-soprano, Robert de Vrij, baritone, Measha Brueggergosman, soprano, Robert Pomakov, bass. Steven Pitkanen, baritone, David Pomeroy, tenor, and Kate Carver, recently returned to Canada to join the COC music staff.
