This ENCOUNTER accommodated up to 12 participants for two sessions on a one to one basis with Ms. Verrett. Pianists Derek Bampton & Adolfo DeSantis.

This Encounter celebrated the life and career of the late Louis Quilico, Canada's Verdi baritone, and his generosity to young singers.

The International Resource Centre "Encounters with Employers" series is presented each year. Employers in previous Encounters have included Joan Dornemann of the Metropolitan Opera, Leon Major, Artistic Director of the Boston Opera, Irving Guttman, Prominent Canadian Director, Mark Hastings of the Berlin Staatsoper, and Nico Castel, language coach of the Metropolitan Opera among others.
